Who are we?
The Board of Airline Representatives of Australia (BARA) is the industry body that promotes the safe and efficient operations of international airlines serving Australia for the benefit of consumers, businesses and tourism. BARA’s member airlines provide over two thirds of all international passenger flights to and from Australia.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has authorised BARA to negotiate on behalf of its members with major international airports, Airservices Australia and other providers of essential aviation-related services to improve the experience, efficiency and safety outcomes for international passengers.
